Sign up for GO Transit E-News and stay informed about changes affecting your commute.

E-News is an e-mail subscription service that lets you sign up for timely, customized news about the service you use. Customers who register for E-News will receive e-mail or text message alerts about service improvements, new schedules, any major delays, construction notices, and other news and information.

Signing up

Signing up for E-News is fast, easy, and free! All you have to do is select the GO Transit service you use, enter the e-mail or text message address you would like information sent to, and pick the days of the week and times of day when you would like to receive notifications. This will ensure you receive only the information you need when you need it. Customers who use more than one of GOs services can sign up for up to three combinations of rail corridors and bus services.

Notifications can be sent to any device that accepts e-mail or text messages. Depending on the type of service you use, you may be charged a per-message fee by your provider. GO is not responsible for these charges.

Unsubscribing and making changes

If at any time you would like to make any changes to your information, simply subscribe again with your new selections. This will replace your previous subscription. You will receive an e-mail confirming the changes. If you would like to unsubscribe from the service, simply follow the instructions at the bottom of any E-News alert.

What if I use an e-mail spam filter?
If you use e-mail spam filters, add enews-list-request@enews-gotransit.com to your address book to ensure that your E-News alerts don't end up in your junk mail or bulk mail folder. If you require assistance, please contact your e-mail service provider.

Can messages be sent to my cellular phone using text messaging?
E-News alerts sent to cellular phones, PDAs, or pagers that are capable of receiving text messages will automatically convert to text message format. To receive E-News alerts as text messages, use the text message e-mail address provided by your cellular phone, PDA, or pager carrier when you sign up for E-News. Please refer to your carrier to confirm that your device is authorized to receive text messages, and for instructions.

What type of information will I receive about service delays?
E-News alerts will be sent when there are major service delays. Major delays include train and bus delays over thirty minutes, cancelled trains or buses, major service disruptions, emergencies, and suspension of service.
